David Dachner is an entrepreneur, energy developer, and philanthropist with more than four decades of experience turning ideas into impactful ventures. As President of Amarado Oil Company, he has developed oil and natural gas assets across Texas since 1978.

Beyond energy, David co-developed the Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort & Spa, the first luxury branded boutique resort in Honduras. He is also the founder of the Abundant Life Foundation, which supports education, housing, and community development in Roatán, and co-founder of Discovery Programs–Austin, a highly effective personal development program that has empowered thousands of individuals to discover their purpose and live more intentional, meaningful lives.

Through his combined business and philanthropic work, David champions the belief that when purpose and enterprise align, they can transform not only individual lives, but entire communities—and even a nation.
